Web browsers for kids

There are many things parents have to do to ensure their children have a save internet browsing experience and one of it is installing a browser specifically designed for kids. 

1. KidZui
Kidzui is considered as the most popular kid's web browser and it is either downloadable or have it's plugin installed in Mozilla Firefox. It features games, YouTube site with save mode 'ON' and other useful features for children.

2. PikLuk
This web browser allows parents to control all the contents for their kids to access and also monitor their progress. The parents can disable the sites they feel not save for their child to view. Other than that, PikLuk allows access to dashboard of the PikLuk web browser to monitor the activities and emails.

While the children are browsing internet on PikLuk, the files and documents can't be accessed. It disables file sharing among users of PikLuk for security reasons.

3. Internet Explorer 9
Even Microsoft has jumped into the band wagon of companies to release a special web browser for children. CEOP(Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) teamed up with Microsoft and came up with specially designed Internet Explorer 9 for kids. This browser is only compatible for Windows 7 operating system users and this is CEOP's contribution into Internet Safety.

4. Zac Browser
This browser is the first of its kind. Zac Browser is filled with activities and videos specially developed for children with autism and other special needs. The time of usage can also be controlled thus allows the children to use for certain amount of period only.Moreover, Zac Browser is also available for mobiles and tablets.

5. Firefly
Not much difference from other kid's web browser, Firefly allows parents to set the duration of internet browsing for children. Firefly comes with standard save Google search results and for Windows 7 users, parents can configure parental control to restrict to certain sites.
