Introduction to safety on the internet for both kids and parent's

    As for this topic,my group has chosen the topic Kids and the Internet for our project.So before I start I would like to tell that the internet has its own benefits if used wisely. As for this topic Kids and the Internet, kids this days should be watched by elderly because they tend to visit the wrong links and this would encourage them to follow what the watch and hear.

    For example, if an 10 year old kid keys in the word "Lego" and made a mistake in one letter instead of lego he accidently types an "S" letter at the end and its spell as Legs, This might direct him to pornographic websites. So parents have to perform their duties in installing safety software for their Pc's to have their kids logging onto the right websites such as education websites whereby they can have research done or communicate with their teacher through communication software but this needs to be controlled. Not only that, parents should be computer literate,they should be more of a friend with their kids so that kids will share what they view on the net and so on.


    Taking serious precautions on kids internet activities, will help them benefit valuable informations without logging onto danger zone of the internet.So parent's play an important role in this topic.
